Fanta was the first soft drink after the Coca-Cola drink that The Coca-Cola Company began distributing. The original orange-flavored Fanta was developed during the war in 1941 by a subsidiary in Germany, when the machines, raw materials and concentrate needed to make Coca-Cola were not available. After several years of production in Germany, in 1955 a new life was breathed into the Fanta menu in Naples, Italy. Fanta was launched in the United States in 1960. Since then, the name of this orange-flavored soft drink has expanded by more than 120 different fruit flavors. The drink, which is mostly popular among the younger generation, is sold in almost 200 countries.
