Gin
Gin is an alcoholic beverage from the Netherlands, where it was discovered in 1650 by Professor of Medicine F. Sylvius. It is produced by the distillation of cereal leaven, which is then flavored with juniper and many other herbs and spices (anise, angelica root and seeds, liquorice, cinnamon, coriander, rosemary, orange and lemon). Thanks to its neutral taste it is very popular for preparing cocktails.
