Opthimus 25 Y.O. is an ultra-premium rum originating in the Dominican Republic. The original recipe from the 19th century of the Oliver family has evolved to today's modern and qualitative unique rum. It has an attractive dark-cherry color. It has been aged for at least 25 years in old Bourbon barrels and subsequently in selected single malt whiskey barrels. The result is a strong but perfectly balanced and fine rum. It has a typical flavor of caramel, vanilla and dried fruit, complemented by tones of malt, as it was aged in whiskey barrels. In the end, the taste is spicy, harmonious and long.
